I love the name, fLor means flower in Spanish. Also I love the brand concept and all the visuals.

Q: Your works can be characterized by bold colors and a minimal composition.
Is there a special method you use to capture such a special moment through your lense?
I love ikebana compositions and it has been a continuous inspiration for me.
I like to take care of composition and colors and try to get the most beautiful angle of each flower.

Q. Why do you work with films and not a digital camera?
I love the colors you can get with film, the grain and texture are inimitable.

Q. How do you select a flower for each work?
If it's a commissioned work it depends on the creative brief, there are tons of flowers and possibilities
and it depends on what you want to express. If I select them for my personal photos I always try to shoot new flowers.

Q: Is there a specific part you pay special attention to when you take photographs?
Composition and balance, colors and to show the most beautiful side of each flower.

Q: Where and how do you get inspired?
I get inspired by nature, ikebana and design.

Q: You’ve worked with so many different flowers. Do you have a favorite?
At the moment peony is my favorite but there are a lot that I haven't shoot yet.

Q: What does the flower mean to you?
It's a subject and the principal main of my photos. It means creativity and experimentation,
I love the full process, from choosing the flowers until arranging them and shooting.
